"Distressed" over the holidays...

This is my second post today so please scroll down to see my I Brake For Stamps post.

Hopefully you're not too stressed this holiday season! It's been running pretty smoothly for me so far. This week's challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow is distressing. If you love vintage like me then distressing your paper project is a necessity. It just adds so much to the vintage feel of a creation.

I've used a couple of different types of distressing on my card.  I used scissors around the edges of the paper to rough them up. I also used the direct to paper method where I took some ink pads and ran them around the edges of just about everything.  The last type of distressing I used was to take sandpaper and run it across the embossed portion of the card.

I used some distressing on the inside as well.

I think that this is such a romantically feminine Christmas card.
I can't wait to choose someone to send this too.
