Harry Potter Baby Shower

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing a card that was a special request.  A woman who buys my cards occasionally was invited to a baby shower.  Mom and Dad are both big Harry Potter fans so she asked if I could incorporate that theme into the baby card.  It took a little thinking but this is what I came up with.

I did maroon and gold stripes to honor the House of Gryffindor.  I didn't have an owl stamp that would work so I printed this owl off the internet so that Hedwig could deliver little baby "Harry."  The baby was trimmed off a baby stamp I have where a stork is delivering the baby.  I just put a little slit in the paper under the owl's talons so that he could hold the baby.

On the inside I used an old sizzix die...Parchment for the "announcement."

And of course I had to have a broom and a nod to one of the many creatures. 

I hope the new mom and dad liked it!
