Congrats on your new shop

I have had the same hairdresser for the last 12 years.  I have watched this woman go from a early 20's stylist working for someone else to having her own chair with her own clients in someone else's shop.  Last month she and her best friend took the plunge and opened their very own shop.  The other 2 places she worked were nice but her place is special.  I wanted to make her a special card to congratulate her.  I came up with this card which I'm not sure if you'd call it a tri-fold or what?  I just designed the layout based on everything that I wanted to include on the card which was a lot.  On the front I used the Congratulations Cuttlebug embossing folder.  When you open the front flap there is a woman and a phrase from a Stampin' Up set.  The flap with the phrase on it then opens up to reveal a phrase from Hampton Arts.  The phrase has a double meaning because she was always complaining that the other studios were too dark.  The mirror and nailpolish were freehanded paper piecings that I did.  The third flap has mattes cut from Spellbinder's dies and that's where I wrote my personal message to her.  The borders are done with Stampin' Up and EK Success border punches.  The adhesive ribbon is Martha Stewart from a Halloween set and the tab punch is also from S.U.
