Ribbon Bow tutorial

I was asked how I made the bow for this card so I thought I'd do a quick tutorial.  It's VERY simple!  Here is the one from my card that was in my last post.

Supplies:
3 or more lengths of ribbon
glue dots
button or something for center

Step 1.
Cut your ribbon into equal lengths depending on how big you want your embellishment to be.  My ribbons are 3 1/2" long and my finished bow measured appox. 1 1/2" across.

Step 2.
Take one glue dot and connect the two ends of your first piece of ribbon and make a loop (see photo).  I attach the glue dot to the center of the back of the ribbon and then place one end of ribbon half way on it and then the other end on the other half of the dot.  Hope that makes sense.

Step 3.
Repeat with remaining pieces of ribbon.  Use more pieces for a fuller bow.

Step 4.
Begin attaching each loop to the others with more glue dots.

Step 5.
Once all ribbon loops are attached secure your button, crystal, etc. to the "flower" with one more glue dot.

Here's the card I used it on.
If anyone tries this leave me a comment with a link to your card.  I'd love to see what you come up with!
