It is another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow and we are having a special HALLOWEEN WITH A TWIST challenge this week so make sure you read the challenge post carefully.
We are welcoming Plumrose Lane as a new sponsor this week and for this challenge our sponsor is providing all of you with a wonderful FREEBIE that you MUST USE to make your vintage, shabby chic or primitive challenge entry. You will love this because the freebie is a collage sheet of fabulous Halloween images along with an instant card and envelope.
To get your freebie, just go to the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge blog, click on the link and download the freebie (in a .zip file format). Please note that the freebie will only be available for the length of the challenge and after that will be available at the Plumrose Lane Etsy shop.
And as if providing this freebie isn't generous enough, Plumrose Lane is also giving one random winner a $10 gift certificate toward the purchase of any item from the Plumrose Lane Etsy shop. The random winner will also receive a Sugar Creek Hollow winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose a Card of the Week and that creator will receive a badge to display and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.
I had such a hard time deciding which images I was going to use.
They're all so spooky and cool!
To add the sentiment to the beautiful vintage frame I simply made a COPY
of it, opened it up in paint, created a text box over it and typed Happy Halloween.
So simple! The reason for the copy is so that my frame won't forever say
Happy Halloween. I still have a blank one to use in the future because I
can see using this frame for a wide variety of cards.
Here's a view of the inside.

What a gorgeous creation you've made here Renee ~ I'm having so much fun seeing what everyone has creating and finding such lovely new blogs to visit! I really enjoyed your added explanation on how you modified the frame image by adding text too ~ bravo!

Renee, love that inside! The way you've crowned your frame is gorgeous along with the lace, such a beautiful LO design. Great job on your card this week.
PS, forgot to tell you that I love your backdrop for the photo.
