My husband and I are both Eco-friendly people. The one time that goes out the window is when my husband drinks red wine and sets the bottle on our white counter tops. He layers paper towel after paper towel under the darn bottles so that our counters don't get stained. I finally decided enough is enough. I took a terra cotta pot bottom and primed and painted it black. Then I used a Spellbinders die to cut a circle out of some wine themed paper that I had. I sealed it with Mod Podge and hopefully saved a few thousand trees!!
This was so easy to make and I think it's really decorative!
He liked it a lot and hopefully it will save a few trees and us a bunch of money in the long run!
