Cozy Little Cabin

 Hello Ai fans!

Happy Tuesday.

Today I'm sharing my card that I created for the On the Border challenge.
I needed a thank you card for an old friend who loaned our family her cottage
this summer.

I used gold paint and 2 different border dies from Art Impressions to
give my card a little something extra special.
(links below)

I also used a foundation stamp so all of the guess work was done for me.

Thank you Mrs. Sprovkin!

Copics used:
W2, W3, G12, G40, R35

Story Tile Wedding Card

 Hello Ai fans!

A friend of ours is getting married on Saturday and I'm
sharing the wedding card that I made for them.

Their invitation was movie themed so I decided to play off of that.

I love the Story Tile template because it creates little windows and
each one features something a little bit different.

I also used the template on the inside but I cut some of the borders out
to create two large windows. I also embossed the designer paper on the left
for a little something extra.

Congratulations Mike and Cathryn!

Shadowbox Gift Card Holder

 Hello Ai fans!

I'm sharing my creation for the Furry Friends challenge today.

I used the 6121 – Storybook Template because I love the look of the shadowbox.
Tucked in a little bear from 6017 – Baby Panda Set and accessorized with several other sets which are all linked below.

On the back, I added a pocket to tuck in a gift card.
The gift card pocket wasn't meant to go with this set so the card does
stick out over the top a bit, but that didn't bother me.

I think it's a cute way to present a gift card to an expectant parent.

Little Pink Houses from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!!

If you haven't had time to check out the two new Storybook series releases,
now is the time to head over to the website and see them.

I've used the 6116 – Thinking of Home
on my card.

Although I used the template die set that coordinates with the stamp sets,
I chose to place it on the card like a frame.

I finished it off with a pretty little bow.
These sets are so cute!

Boy oh Boy Challenge Diaper Bag

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I have a little experiment to share with you.
I was wanting to make a baby card for the Boy oh Boy! challenge
and I got the idea to use the tool bag as a diaper bag.
I'm pleased with how it turned out.

The die that cuts out the bag also cuts slits to place the tools in. The tools
are smaller than the baby items I included, so I cut some of the slits open
a little larger with a craft knife. It worked perectly.

I used the new silver paint to add accents to the bag and to paint
the pin so it would look more real.

So far, this card is for no one in particular. The only baby on the way
in my life is the next door neighbors daughter and she's having a girl.
I know it'll come in handy at some point though.

Enjoy your day!

Tony's Tiny Joke Book (Part 3)

 Hello Ai fans!

Welcome to my last installment of Tony's Tiny Joke Book.

I shared the previous pages, cover and box in prior posts.
Those can be found HERE and HERE.

I was asked to make a birthday card for a 9 year old boy with a 9 year old sense of humor.
I thought a little journal filled with silly dad jokes and riddles would be perfect for him.

The questions are on top of a flap and the answers are underneath.

I paired a cute animal with each joke.

I mean, how cute are these little guys?!

I loved that the Art Impressions Designer Paper
makes it so easy to coordinate an entire journal.

I hope you enjoyed Tony's Tiny Joke Book.
I'm told that he did.

Floral Frenzy StoryTile from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!
The current challenge on the Art Impressions Challenge Blog is
Floral Frenzy!

Who on this planet doesn't love flowers?
You don't have to grow them or keep fresh flowers
in your house, but doesn't everyone love flowers?

I love the 6158 – Story Tile Template Die.
You can place an image in every section, or you can fill them with
sentiments or even just pretty paper. It's a great way to have an instant layout
for a card.
