Sending Love for Father's Day

 Hello Ai fans!

The current challenge on the Art Impressions blog is called Enjoy the Ride.
The challenge is to use something that you ride on or in. When you enter your
creation using something from Art Impressions, you become eligible to win
a free stamp set. Good luck!

My card was created for my Father-in-Law for Father's Day.
I used 3 different images that are a "ride." A plane, two hot air balloons
and a scooter. My craft room is in the process of moving right now and
is spread out across 4 rooms It's a pain lugging my Copic markers
from place to place to I've been using my Watercolor Pencils and colored
pencils quite a bit lately. It's nice to be using them
again. I forgot how much I enjoy the look I get from those.
I used Art Impressions Mixed Media paper and ink because they're
compatible with the water. Links for everything are below.

I stamped the mountains three times, trimmed them by hand,
and layered them to add dimension.
I then fussy cut all of the other stamped images and
popped those up as well, to give the entire card a nice 3-D effect.
The plane, scooter, wood pile and lamp post
are retired Village Ad-ons.

Schoolhouse Matchbook Scene from Art Impressions

 Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!

My package FINALLY arrived.

For some reason, it took a liking to N.J. and stayed there
far longer than it should have.

I was anxiously awaiting it to see if the new little Freebie
Structures would fit in the 5317 – MB Template Dies.
It turns out that they are scaled perfectly for them!
I'm so excited.

In case you're not aware, the freebies are available when you
spend $30 or more. You are able to select your choice of
the current freebies.

All of the papers on the inside are from 5873 – Mini Birthday Journal Paper Pack.

The sunshine is from SC0653 – Beach Babes.

I used various tabs from other MB sets and cut them down to
fit all of the 5889 – Village Vehicles and 5890 – Village Accessories.

Like with all of the MB sets, this will fold up flat for mailing.

I used a combination of Copic, Tombow and Marvy markers and watercolor pencils to color these.

Copics used:
N0, Y02, Y15, G03, G12, G16, G28
Marvy: NO. 12 grey
Tombow Twintone: Black, Chocolate and Strawberry Red
Staedtler WC Pencils: 3, 80
Derwent Watercolour Pencils: Deep Cadmium 6, Geranium Lake 15,
Madder Carmine 19, Turquoise Green 40, Vandyke Brown 55
