My Mushroom Cubbie from Art Impressions was PUBLISHED!!

 Guess what??

I had my Mushroom Cubbie card published!!

I'm in the current issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.

I entered it into the Valentine category because, how perfect is that sentiment for your Valentine...
There's Gnome-one like you! Besides using the 5728 – Mushroom Cubbies I used one of the hearts from 5721 – Nested Heart Dies.

I added little accents with the Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White paint.  I like that it's a little non-traditional in its colors and theme.  There's a heart and embossed hearts but it's not predominately hearts.  Not that there's anything wrong with that!!  lol!!  I just like things to be a little non-traditional.

There's a digital copy of the magazine online or you can purchase a paper copy in most craft stores. It's a wonderful magazine.  You can also subscribe.

 Happy Thursday everyone!

Be sure to check back later today for the winners of the Give Us a Fright challenge and to see what the new challenge is!

Until then,  you can take a look at my most recent gnome card.
These little guys are just so cute!

Since all of these sets are the perfect size for this window die I thought it would be cute to create a bit of a different type of window scene.

I will list and link all of the Art Impressions products that I've used below.

Christmas Came Early Challenge at Art Impressions

 Hello and Happy Sunday!

Today I'm sharing my card for the Christmas Came Early Challenge and the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge in honor of Janis Woolbright.

Art Impressions has sponsored all 9 of the Cat Lovers Hop Challenges and this will be the final one.  If you'd like to enter to win lots of great prizes just click the photo to be taken to the page where you can register.

I apologize for the little hairs on my card.  (They're dog, not cat...lol) My card was sticky from gluing all those fine line pieces. I didn't notice until I saw the close ups of the photos. No time to reshoot and edit them all.  I've since pulled them off and dusted it so it's not sticky anymore.

Copics used: B02, YG03, YG17, YR04, YR24, Y04, W4, N1, R37, R85, E00, E23, E31

Gnomes and Bees from Art Impressions

 Hello and Happy Sunday!

Do you love these new Gnomes as much as I do?
And, yes.  Just so you all know, I can see you furrowing your eyebrows and hear you muttering, "Well that's a silly question," in my head! lol!

Of COURSE you love them!

Gnomes live in the woods so I added lots of bees. Gnomes love flowers and so do bees, so I'd assume that Gnomes love bees too. The teeny little bee is from a retired freebie.  He sits on a flower that a sweet little bear is holding.  I only inked up the bee and placed him on the gnomes nose.  It wasn't easy, but it was worth it.  Maybe someday Bonnie will make us a full bee set with everything from a teeny little cluster of 3 bees that we could ink up as one, two or three...all the way up to larger bees that could be the star of our cards!

One very cool feature of this new Gnome set is that one of them is a Front and Back stamp which means you can create a window showing him from the front and on the inside of the card where you see his backside.

The same goes for the little bees from Birds and Bugs. Since some face left and some face right, you can make those F&B stamps too!

I love using clear acetate to make it look like certain images are flying or floating.  You just have to love bees!

Happy 18th Birthday Braedyn!

Happy Birthday Braedyn and Debbie!

Today I have two birthday cards to share.

The first is for my niece's birthday today.
The second is for Debbie's birthday on Christmas Day.

Braedyn absolutely loves gnomes, so I know she'll enjoy this card.
I die cut letters from 5562 – Journal Letter Die Set and adhered them

The next card is for Debbie Hedges who I've gotten to know through The Art Impressions Way, a FB fan group.  Her favorite color is purple, and she also loves gnomes.

The pinecones are from 5592 – Harvest Journal Die Set.

At school, 5th graders were making gnomes,
so I knew I just had to make one for Debbie.

The embossing folder is called Forest Floor.

Inside Debbie's card I used 5125 – WC Elves Set.
The sentiment is from 5000 – Gotta Garden Set.

Thank you! You GNOME me SO well!

Hello and happy Saturday!!

Christmas is always such a fun time at school.  This year my friends went above and beyond and got me the most perfect gifts.

I wanted to make some extra special thank you cards for them.
Although the cards are all the same layout each one is unique through the backgrounds and gnome outfits.

Each little gnome was painstakingly constructed using dies from Joy Craft.  These tiny little pieces make these little guys so unique but very time consuming to put together.

Thank you, Katie, Therese, Melissa, Tessa, Jaime, Teri, Michelle, Maryann and Amanda!
