Happy Birthday Mom! with Art Impressions Dies

 Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone!

My Mother-in-Law was recently had a birthday and I played around with some
Art Impressions dies to make her a birthday card.

Would you believe, after 32 years, I don't know her favorite color?
I know she decorates with a lot of these shades so I'm guessing she'll like this.

Halloween Journal Black Cat and Bat page + winner of Black Cat GHC raffle

Hello and happy Sunday!

Today I'm sharing another page from my Halloween journals as well as announcing the winner of the Black Cat GCH set!

Let's start off with my new pages.  I made three in all.  One with the darker web paper and two with the lighter paper.  Both are from 5605 – Halloween Journal Paper Pack.

I used the same sets on all of the pages.  The scalloped matte and base page were created from 5543 – Journal Template Die Set. The frames are both from 5591 – Journal Rectangle Frames Die Set.

I used the 5328 – Halloween Mini Dies for the bat and spider. The cat is from 5333 – Cats Mini Dies.
The bat that I colored is from 5460 – Halloween Slimline Set.

Now for the announcement you've all been waiting for!  The lucky random winner of the 5341 – Black Cat GCH Set is...
Congratulations, Jackie U!
I'll be in touch with you to get your address.

Life is better with Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Happy Sunday!

Today I'm sharing a card made only with dies.  I love that in the last few years, Art Impressions has added so many fabulous dies to their collection of products.  All Ai products are linked below.

For this card, my paper inspired the color combination.  I started with that and built my card outwards from there.  I almost always choose the stamp I want to use, then the paper, and color the image to match the paper.  In this case, I chose the paper and made all of my die cuts match.

The sentiment came in an unknown paper pad where you cut out sentiments from a large 12 x12 piece of paper.  I don't use these very often and I'm not sure why.  I like what it added to my card.

I temporarily misplaced the heart die so it didn't make the photo.  Never fear!  I found it around an hour later.  Those darn little dies are buggers to keep track of!  That's why I ordered multiple sets of the journal letter dies.  I'd hate to have an incomplete set of the alphabet.
