Smile! Happy 30th!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card  you!  Don't you just love this guy?  I know I sure do!

He's called  "Still Have Teeth" and it's available in wood block at A.C. Moore along with several other adorable stamps.

Here's the inside.  I tried to link this verse but I couldn't find it anymore and think it's been retired.  Sorry!  There are TONS of other verses over at Ai that would be just as cute with this image for a birthday!

I made two versions because...why not?

My friend requested a funny birthday card for her brother's 30th  so I think this will make them happy.

Isn't this image perfect for a 30th birthday card?

SMILE!!

Art Impressions Die cuts and punches

Welcome to Art Impressions Die Cuts and Punches challenge.

Today I've used Birthday Couple and the Young Once verse.

My die cut is the corner in the lower left.

My punches are the two scalloped corners.

This old couple just cracks me up!  The lady

totally reminds me of someone I know but I wouldn't

dare say who on public forum! LOL!!

The die is a Sizzix Sizzlit and the scalloped

corners are from a dual Paper Shapers punch.

Happy Birthday George

I made this funny card for my Father-In-Law's birthday. I tried a design that I've never done before and I really like how it turned out. I made a tall, very thin card and then did my design on a rectangle that I placed in the middle. What do you think? The funny old couple are from Art Impressions as is the saying. I used dimensional paint for the icing and I put clear glaze on their glasses and on the arrow. I colored them with my Copic markers and used a pom pom for "George's" hat! The checked background behind the people was made with one of my Fiskars texture plates. I can't wait to try this style again.
