I Brake for Peace and Joy!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing two similar Christmas cards with you.  Sometimes I don't feel like coloring so I love using a sentiment along with something else as the highlight of my card.  I was in the mood to create with paper so I settled on these poinsettias.

The two sentiments I used are from I Brake For Stamps.

Here's the inside...

I made the poinsettia using a Sizzix red die and some curling ribbon.

Will you walk into my parlour?" said the Spider to the Fly

'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy.

Okay, so I was lying in the bed the other night, wide awake at 12:45 because my husband was snoring and this idea popped into my head.  I had to get out of bed, go into our closet and find a scrap paper and pen and jot it down before I forgot it.  This is what I do in the middle of the night... and you?  It came out pretty much the way I envisioned it.  The Swirley Spider and Web are from SUGAR CREEK HOLLOW and are both from the SPIDER WEB QUILT set.  I know I've used this set before but I keep thinking of cute ways to use this spider!  I mean, not everything has to be dark and spooky for Halloween right?  Although,  I guess it is kind of creepy that she's sneaking over to get the poor little fly.  I really had fun making this one!
