Light Box answer

I had a question asked about using a light box to photograph paintings and drawings. I absolutely think it would enhance your photos of them. I personally think it brightens up the image and makes you focus on the art and not whats going on around it. If you're planning on buying or making one you would just need to make sure it was large enough to fit your average pieces in. My box is only about 12"wide x 18"deep. If you are used to scanning your artwork I think you will be amazed at how much better it looks when photographed in a more professional way. And trust me... you don't need to be a professional for this to work. I know very little about photography and haven't learned how to use half the functions on my camera and I think my photos are coming out better all ready. I hope this was helpful to you.

Thank you so much. :) I've spent lots of times trying to adjust colors and brightness of my drawings on the computer--hopefully this will be able to simplify things in the future!
