Recipe holder

As I announced earlier this month I have joined the SUGAR CREEK HOLLOW design team.  This weekend marks the official kick off and we will be having a blog hop to reveal the new designers and the amazing new fall releases.  Dont' forget to check back here this Saturday, September 4 and follow our blog hop to see all of the great things the designers have come up with. It should be fun and you'll get many great ideas of all the things you can do with Tracy's digital images.

So...for my project today...are you tired of your recipes getting messy when you lay them on your counter?  I am.  (I'm not the neatest cook but I'm a good cook!)  I decided to do something about all of the sauce and oil spatters on my pretty cards.  A few stamps from Sugar Creek Hollow are what inspired me!  This apron is just so adorable!  After I saw that I went searching for some food themed stamps and came up with the jelly jar set with strawberries.  After choosing my stamps I started grabbing punches, ribbon, glitter...anything that struck my fancy.  I literally just threw this stuff together as I went along.  Things that I thought would be pretty to look at as I cook.  I think this is a piece of art that will look great in my kitchen as well as serve a purpose!  The vintage style of SCH fits right in with my style.  I love how this turned out!
