Save some trees! Use an alternate "paper" item

Happy New Year and welcome to our first challenge of 2012 at Sugar Creek Hollow
This week we want you to save some trees and
RE-PURPOSE PAPER TOWELS, TOILET PAPER OR COFFEE FILTERS
Instead of buying some designer paper for your project, go to your
kitchen or bathroom and grab one of the above items and let's see
how you can transform it and incorporate
it into your vintage, shabby chic or primitive
card or other paper-crafted project.

I've used a coffee filter on my card.  I took the filter and
sprayed gold spray glitter on it.  I then
used a Sizzix die to cut two different sized flowers and layered
them.  I really like the look in
person.  It really sparkles.

I made my unusually shaped card with a Spellbinders Grand label die.
The border is also from Spellbinders as well as the matte.
The beautiful flourish is from Cheery Lynn Designs.

This week one random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a
winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose one
project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge
and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

Our new Design Team is in place and everyone has worked hard
to create some inspiration for you.If you'd like to see the other
designer's creations just visit the Sugar Creek Hollow Vintage Challenge Blog.

I've entered my card in the following:
Fashionable Stamping Challenge: Anything Goes with new stash
(my lace and paper are new and I used a new technique: coffee filters)

This is such a pretty card and I love your flower. Your flower looks more like a flower and I can see the pretty centre. The flourish die cut is so pretty.
Hugs!
