I became an online friend with Debbie Hedges in 2021 while I
was battling cancer. She took it upon herself to mail me a card almost every
week for about a year and since then I still receive cards from her.
She wasn't the only one who sent cards and I accumulated 100s over the
years. These beautiful cards are just sitting in boxes in closet because I don't
have the space to display that many cards. I wanted to share these pretty little
works of art with other people.
With her permission, I took the front off of one of her cards to create a
sympathy card for a friend who lost his wife on Saturday. She was 94 and he's
97. Mrs. Peggy Swartz was a wonderful lady who made me feel like family
every time I was in her home.
Here is my Sympathy card.
"Partner card" because I created it with a partner.
"Partner card" because I created it with a partner.
Here is Debbie's original card.
All of the stamps are from Art Impressions watercolor line.
