Girl Scout Halloween Bookmarks from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Last night I helped some little girls earn their Craft and Tinker badge for Girl Scouts.

We made some Halloween bookmarks and they seemed to really enjoy themselves.

I created individual baggies with lots of stamped and die cut choices.

The girls ranged from 2nd - 5th grade with a few younger siblings and they all did an amazing job!

It was so fun to see their individual personalities come out in their choices.

I had so much fun doing this and I hope they need help again in the future.

Halloween Bookmarks from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

My friend has two little girls who are Girl Scouts.

They are trying to earn their Craft and Tinker Badge and she asked if I could come in and work with the girls and their troop. I will have 14 girls and 1 hour to complete something. She mentioned maybe making a bookmark, and with the Halloween season upon us, I came up with this design. This is just preliminary. I am seeing a brighter background for little girls, maybe orange or lime green? And also, I think the fence is a little delicate for their small hands to glue down. I think they'll love the little characters though.

I used characters from 5506 – Peek-a-Boo Set and I think I may offer them some of the new 5934 – Spooky Crew Set or 5352 – Halloween Critters Set too.

I used 5223 – Bookmark Dies for the base. This is such a fun and easy project with so many possibilities. The dies help it come together so quickly. P.S. I need a better camera. My Dracula has rosy cheeks and a pink skin tone in person but they didn't show up on camera. 

My friend offered to reimburse me for my supplies but I declined. I'm starting to rethink that though. Is it wrong to ask for a box of Samoas as payment...lol!

Halloween Journal Back Cover and Cat GCH GIVEAWAY from Art Impressions!

 Hello everyone and welcome back.  It's my day over on the Art Impressions blog and I'm sharing the back page of my Halloween Journal!

This time I've added a Gift Card Holder.

Two of my journals feature the 5341 – Black Cat GCH Set (though he certainly could be used any time of year in any color) and my third journal features the 5342 – Pumpkin GCH Set.

You do need the 5344 – Envelope GCH Set to hold the gift card and glue the GCH elements to or you could just use the dies on a card of scrapbook page but they wont hold a gift card.

I'm giving away a 5341 – Black Cat GCH Set.  This is JUST the cat dies.  The envelope template is not included. Don't these adorable little dies add so much fun to your creations!  They certainly don't even need to be in a journal.  How cute would these be on a card or scrapbook page!

I fit the little envelopes into a pocket from 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.  BOO was made with 5562 – Journal Letter Die Set and the little fall embellishments are from 5604 – Halloween Journal Die Set.
Some of the papers are from 5605 – Halloween Journal Paper Pack.

I used Copic markers to color some of the dies.
