Sending smiles!

Hello Ai fans!

As you know I've been making cards to thank essential workers during the Covid quarantine.  This time around it was postal workers.

I used 5221 – Sending Love Cubbies.

I made a few copies...one for my postman, one for our local post office and one for my sister's friend who is a postal worker.  She said they were swamped and working so much overtime that he rarely saw his family. 

The doors on the mailbox open to reveal all the mail!

Also, the flag goes up and down.

This is the second version that I made.

Some of the letters are from 5181 – Happy Mailbox Cubbies.

The thank you verse is from the 5102 – Succulents Set.

Today I'm sharing two nearly identical cards meant for two different people.

For both I used the beautiful  5102 – Succulents Set.

I'm not sure who this first card will be sent to.  I just wanted to have it on hand.

I stamped the verse inside of the 5135 – Hexagon Double Stitched Dies.
This card is WAY outside of my normal design comfort zone but I was feeling inspired.  I've been watching a lot of those home makeover shows on HGTV lately and they use a lot of very bold and bright patterns and colors.

The black and white side looks like designer paper but I just stamped and masked several of the flowers from the set to create that side.  Then I stamped, colored and die cut the flowers for the other side.

On the second card I used the 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies and 5133 – Flag Double Stitched Dies.  The second card is being sent to my daughter at school.  She recently took an interest in succulents and made herself an adorable little pot of them to take with her.

Love Grows Here!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing another WC Elves card.

For this one I created quite a large scene using all of the images from that set as well as several others.

I thought about the little elf from last week.  He was asleep under a mushroom.  That's all fine and dandy on a nice day but they really need somewhere to live.

I decided the little doorway from 4849 – Celebrate Spring MTF would be perfect!  I stamped it and then drew a tree around it.

Of course they needed a pathway to their door so I used

5018 – WC Cobblestone Set.

I wanted some sort of verse on here that made sense with the little elves so I started hunting through my stamps.  I came across this one "Love Grows Here" from the 5102 – Succulents Set.

Wouldn't you love to run across this in your forest?

Succulents Bloom from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card made with the new 5102 – Succulents Set.
I also used the 

5065 – Oval Double Stitched Dies.

This is such a pretty set and with all the colors you can use and the combinations of flowers, the possibilities are truly endless!

I used foam tape to pop up the flowers at different heights to give the card a lot of dimension.

I love the way the flowers look with the gingham paper.

There are several fun verses that come with the set besides the one I used as well.

Today I'm sharing a card made with the new 5102 – Succulents Set.
I also used the 

5065 – Oval Double Stitched Dies.

I liked the way the flowers look with the two different types of wood paper.
