I wanted to be sure you could see how pretty these flowers are so
I've taken LOTS of pictures this week.  I'll explain the coloring on the
different flowers as you get to those pictures.

I decided to make a Chinese food gift box to go with my
card this week.  I don't have a template to share with you.
All I did was wash out a container and tear it apart to trace.
I used my Martha Stewart score board to make the folds.
It was a little tricky to figure out but I like how it turned out.

The flowers on top are from Petaloo.  They started out white and I
chose to colorize them in different ways.  The larger, yellow flower
was spritzed with Glitz Spritz in Blazing moon, Desert sun.
The smaller, orange flower was colored with a Copic marker.
The stamen was coated with stickles.
The stems and leaves are just some eucalyptus that I had lying around the house.

The flowers on the card were painted with Distress Crackle paint in Dried Marigold  from Tim Holtz.
The center flowers were done with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Scattered Straw.  To color those
I simply turned them upside down and "mashed" them onto the ink pad to smear the ink
onto the flower.  I inked around the crackled flowers with a brown, pigment ink pad.

My stamp is an oldie from Stampin' Up.   I colored it with a combination of water color
pencils and colored pencils.  I used some sequins in the corner and I put some rhinestone
centers in them.  The little tag, border and sentiment frame were all cut with
Spellbinders dies.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

Hi Renee, I have been over here at least 3 times since I first saw your project on MM site. Each time this amazing piece of tremendous art didn't pop up, finally today I was checking to see if I needed to go visit a participant and thought I would try your blog one more time. This time (duh!) I scrolled down and finally found this entry, girl, girl, this is one of the prettiest paper crafts I have feasted my eyes upon. I absolutely am drooling over this, everything single thing is breathtaking!!! Just saying! :)
