Happy 10th Birthday Sophia!

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my friend's niece.

She's turning 10 this weekend and loves art.

This is my first time using the new 5502 – Craft Bag and Die Set.

This set is wonderful because it comes with all the dies to cut out the bag and the little art tools.  There are slits in the bag to insert the tools where ever you'd like.

I popped the bag up with foam tape to give the card some dimension and added lots of sparkly bling because what 10 year old girl doesn't love a little pizzazz?!

I cut an extra set of the bag and tools for Sophia to color and create her own project.  My friend said she'll probably copy my colors as best she can.  I had to laugh because, being the first time I've used this craft bag, I also copied the artwork from the package! lol!  Packaging is very important to so many people when first using a set.

Copics used:

Y04, Y17, YR23, E42, R17, R85, RV34, RV63,

Happy 8th Birthday Sophia!

Hello Ai fans!

Today is a fun day over at Art Impressions!
We're sharing our projects using the newest sets from the Funny Farm line.

I decided to do a round shaker card because it just sounded fun.
I "may" have gotten a little over zealous with the beads in this first card.  The thing is...you can't tell until it's all sealed up. Oops!

When you shake the beads you can see parts that you couldn't see before.

I made a second shaker in slightly different colors for my friend's autistic niece.  She loves tactile things so I thought she'd enjoy the shaker.

On the inside of the card I put a frog on an action wobble.  Another interactive piece on the card that she could enjoy.

Happy Birthday Sophia!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I made for a little girl's 6th birthday.
I thought she'd have fun with an interactive card.

I've used 4801 – Panda Slider Set

This panda is actually part or the Slider/Stacker line.  He's meant to go on a slider card using the Ai Slider die.  I wanted Sohpia to have a little more interaction that just pulling the straight slider die. (don't get me wrong... I LOVE that die!)

I really think she'll have fun sliding the plane back and forth.

Happy 5th Birthday Sophia!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for a sweet little girl.
She's autistic but is just like every other little kid in one big way...she gets obsessed with something and wants to eat, sleep and breath it!

This year she loves Legos.
I was told she really liked the card because of the 3-D effect it had.  Autistic kids have sensory issues so she really enjoyed touching this.

With my son it was dinosaurs!  From about 2yrs. to 8 that's all he wanted to talk about.

My daughter was wild about Mary-Kate and Ashley.  She would sing their songs and play with their "barbie" dolls.

Here's the inside of Sophia's card.

I printed the minifig and the verse is from an old Stampin' Up set.

Last year she loved puzzles of the U.S. so I made this one...

Two years ago it was Elmo and triangles!
(yes, she loved triangles...)

I didn't make her 2nd card.  My friend who requests these had personal stuff going on and didn't ask that year.

Here's her first birthday card.

I wonder what 6 yrs. will bring??

Happy Birthday Sophia!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing Sophia's 4th birthday card.  My friend's niece is really into puzzles, especially of the United States so she asked me to make something she'd love.

The arrow is pointing to Pennsylvania because they live in Philadelphia.

Happy Birthday Sophia!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I made for my friends niece.  She just turned 3 and the card requirements were...shapes, especially triangles,  Elmo and numbers.  I decided to make the card shape the triangle and use dotted paper on it.  I used a three because that was her age, a clip art Elmo and I added her name.

I used some clear acetate that I had left over from some product packaging to attach the letters so that it looked like the letters were floating.  The "3" was traced and cut from a stencil.  The flowers and letters are from the Hippy Chic alphabet set from Cuttlebug.

Inside I used a birthday verse from Gina K.

Happy First Birthday Sophia!

Hello Ai Fans!!

Today I'm sharing a little girl's birthday card.
My card features the always adorable Little Dress-up girl (Sku#H940)

My friend asked for a first birthday card for her niece and I thought this image would be perfect!
She has a picture of her with a toy necklace and a hat on in almost this exact pose!

We're still in the midst of our product swap with Eyelet Outlet so of course I used some of their beautiful products on my card.  You can see the gorgeous, self-adhesive pearls strands and the sweet pearl brad.  The pearl strips are wonderful because they can be cut to any length you need.

Ladybug baby!

A very good friend of mine asked me to make a ladybug
themed baby card for her sister-in-law.  It's their first baby
and my friend buys lots of cards from me so I wanted to
make it special.  Hope she likes it!

I decided to do an easel card because it shows off
more at a time.  I wanted the ladybug and the poem
to both stand out.

The large ladybug is made from a Sizzix die and the
small ones are clear stamps.
The verse is from TLC Creations.
The swirls are from Spellbinders as well as all
of the circles and scalloped circles.
The embossing was done with a Cuttlebug folder.

Inside I've used a cute circle stamp from
I Brake For Stamps.
It can be found in this BUNDLE!
The top part is for my friend to write in.
