Irish you a lucky day! from Art Impressions

 Hello everyone!

We're just 19 days away from St. Patrick's Day.
I was flipping through my book of stamps and came across this
little cutie and really wanted to use him.

All images and the sentiment are from 5006 – Sham-rock Set.  My husband and I aren't Irish (at least not that I know of) but I like to share a little Leprechaun love each St. Patrick's Day.

Party Time Tuesdays! St. Patrick's Day Box

This is my second post today.  Please scroll down for my Midnight Madness Post.

It's Tuesday again which means it's time for another Party Time Tuesdays challenge.  This week..."How lucky" St. Patrick's Day!  I learned how to make the box from this month,s wonderful sponsor, Lisa Tedder from Tuesday Techniques. The cute little images are from our weekly sponsor Stamp Fairy

I used buttons on the handle.
(here's a tip...shop AFTER the holiday for next year.  I got 10 of these buttons for .10 cents.  They were supposed to be $1 but were on sale for 90% off!)

I filled the box with paper strips and then the "treasure!"

Happy Birthday Deb

My Sister-in-law has a birthday coming up on March 17 AKA St. Patrick's Day. I don't think I've ever made her a holiday themed card so I thought this year I would. I used the Inkadinkado hearts and shamrock stamp for the main image and paired it with a Canadian Maple phrase "Irish For A Day" since she's not actually Irish. I embossed the card with a Cuttlebug folder and then embossed a darker shade of green with the same folder and trimmed out some of the flowers that reminded me of shamrocks. The 3 flowers have green crystal brads in the center. Inside I used a bunch of scrap paper, an Inkadinkado Leprechaun and a Stampin' Up birthday phrase which was trimmed with the Stampin' Up scalloped circle punch. I used my Copic markers to color the Leprechaun.
