Today they're releasing some new additions to those lines.

I've made a card from each line.

For my first card I used 4933 – Catastrophy Set.

I Brake for Lakes!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Best day of the week isn't it?  Today I'm jumping the gun a little bit.  My husband's birthday is in August and we always return to the lake he grew up on to rent a cottage for his birthday week.  When I saw these recent releases at I Brake For Stamps I jumped all over them!!  Then, when my husband went to China for 2 weeks on business I had some free (private) time to craft and so I took advantage of that and made his card now.

I used two new releases called CANOE SCENE and PADDLE FRAME.

On the inside I used the birthday verse from BOTANICAL.
I just know he's going to love this card.  Now I just have to keep it hidden for the next few months...and remember where I put it when it's time to pack for the trip.

Don't forget you can always SAVE 10% when you use my coupon code SAVE10RENEE.

Monique goes to Italy!

Hello Ai fans!

The current challenge at Art Impressions is called Trips Ahoy!!  Who doesn't love a vacation or have dreams of visiting a far off land?  My dream?  Italy.  I'd love to see it all from Rome, to Venice, to Tuscany.  I can't even imagine what an Italian winery must be like to visit.  So...since at this time I have no plans to go...I've sent Monique (Sku#U2828) on my behalf!

WHEN I finally get to go I plan to enjoy every moment of it.  Poor Monique looks like she got stuck working.  She seems to enjoy her work though.  I'm going to imagine it's ME she's bringing that bread and wine and cheese to!  Also, did you notice?  They're playing my favorite Billy Joel song...Scenes from an Italian Restaurant.

Here's the inside.  I totally agree with this verse The Queen (Sku#H4263)!
The cork paper and wine bottle on the front and this Italian hillside were both printed off the internet.
The flourish is a Sizzix Bigz die but I couldn't find it to include a photo of my supplies listed below.
