In late 1998 Lindy created the first sprays to color your stamping and scrapbooking world.  These products have grown to encompass hundreds of colors, have inspired similar spray products and have become her signature with their deep rich color and generous shimmer!

For my card I have used the Pelican and Just saying hello sentiment from Doodle Pantry.  I love nautical themed cards.  The pelican was colored with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen.  The tag was fun to make.  I took a chipboard tag (from my son's new jeans) and painted it with Ranger's Weathered Wood crackle paint and then added some white acrylic paint.  The "net" was a lucky $1 store find.  It's actually self adhesive dry wall patch.  I got a huge roll for only $1.  I have some magic mesh and know it can be pretty pricey so I was thrilled to find this.  I added the ship's wheel and sand pail for a fun touch.

We'd love to have you join in on the challenge! You can view what all of the other designers have created for you on the Priscillastyles Midnight Madness blog as well. Don't forget on Friday you can click the "sneak peak" button and get a head start over the weekend on MMSC87.

This is wonderful, Renee! What a stunning masculine card. They are the hardest for me, but I'm coming right back to this post time and time again for inspiration! Beautiful job!

Yes the card is great for a guy, I do not do man cards, they are in the too hard basket for me.
You have done a wonderful job again Renee.

What an ingenious use of dry wall patch! I am so glad you had it listed in your "makings", I was very curious what that awesome weave was!! You have done such a wonderful job on this card, I love all your embellies; the pin, the twine, the bucket and wheel all make for such a wonderful and beautiful design! Way to go girl, just amazing work!

I love your card, but what I love more is your creative use of "found" material. The tag off of your child's jeans, the drywall mesh, etc. Love the whole look of your card. Great job on this! Best, Curt

Renee, this is such a fabulous card with so many details. I too love nautical cards so you have my attention! You've colored this pelican in beautifully and the details on the tag are amazing! Definately makes you feel like you're sitting by the doc just watching him. Your ships wheel and bucket charm are such a perfect addition and your embossing is stunning! Awesome creation this week! Love it! Oh my, I just noticed your ribbon too!!! WOW!
Many thanks for all your kind words for my DH's uncle, they are so appreciated.
