New Belly Band Bunny card from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

There are some fun new releases on the Art Impressions website.

Today I've used the brand new 5804 – Decorative Belly Bands.
There was a delay in shipping initially, so my card is a bit late for Valentine's Day.

This would be SO CUTE as an Easter card though. Just swap out the sentiment with one from one of your favorite Easter sets. If the pink paper isn't your thing, Art Impressions has lots of pretty Easter sets or basic pads that have other beautiful spring colors and patterns in them.

Ai Paper Pads

I love that Art Impressions is offering so many die sets now. They really compliment their adorable images and help create such a finished and special look to your cards and craft projects. I don't think that I could pick a favorite.

Sending Bugs and Kisses from Art Impressions

 Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I'm sharing a sweet, whimsical card made from the
5728 – Mushroom Cubbies,
5742 – Easter Journal Paper Pack
and
5463 – Slimline Dies Set

Last week was teacher appreciation week and I received some gifts from some students as well
as some "just because" gifts from friends.  I'll be sharing several thank you cards like this
in the near future.

I just love how cute this set is whether you color it brightly or softly.
Also, the little pieces stand on their own without the adorable main mushroom image.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

 Hello Ai fans!

Little girls (and big girls)
just love their fairy tales!

I had a request for a pink card using either something girly or unicorn themed.

I sent her photos of the retired 5752 Floral Carousel Set and the 5225 – Castle Cubbies.

She thought her soon to be 3 year old niece would love the castle.

I used a piece of acetate to make one of the unicorns "fly."  I know that aren't known for flying but they're magical so I feel like if they really put their mind to it...lol!

The front is a shadowbox and I cut the opening and made the sparkly pink frame using
5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies

Both castles were coated in a layer of WOSC Wink of Stella Glitter Clear Brush Pen – Clear and are so glittery though it's tough to see in the photos.

I decided to make a second version in blue.
This time I added dragons and made one of them fly.

The dragon wings were also done with Wink of Stella and the unicorns and torch flames have some Stickles for added sparkle.

Dawn Kuklewicz sent me some adorable little gems for my birthday so I added several of them for some extra bling.

The Critter Cubbies are possibly my favorite interactive series of all time with the Sub CubbieMushroom Cubbie and this Castle Cubbie being my favorites but PLEASE!  Don't make me choose!
Because then...the hen house,  the barn, the owls...I LOVE them ALL!

New Mushroom Cubbies and Chicken Matchbooks from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a couple of the new releases from Art Impressions.

For my first card I used the brand new,  absolutely adorable, 5728 – Mushroom Cubbies.

I made a Bay Window Card that I added an oval to on the front.
For the ovals I used the new 5727 – Nested Oval Dies

I added some Stickles in the windows to make them appear to be reflective and a little on
the dots on the mushrooms for the simple reason that I love sparkle.

I also decorated the inside of the card with more of the images and a verse from the set.

The sweet little gnome is popped up on foam dots so that he can hold the front panel
where it belongs.

In this photo you can see how it pops out and the fun dimension it has.

My next card is a Matchbook.

I used the new 5731 – Chicken MB.

I love that Bonnie has started to create some outdoor scenes for the Matchbook series.
All of the Matchbooks are built on the 5317 – MB Template Dies.

I made a cute little envelope to put my card in.

These are all tiny little treasures.

Look how cute!

Which is your favorite Matchbook?

New Mushroom Cubbies and MB Tool Shed from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Did you see the new releases last week on the Art Impressions website??
I was like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw this set!
It's called 5728 – Mushroom Cubbies.
You can see all of the Critter Cubbies here...

I stamped the verse on a die from 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies.
The mattes were cut from 5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies.

The Cubbies are an interactive series.  They all have
doors and windows that open to reveal hidden treasures!
I'll pause for a moment here, while you take a moment to giggle
over that fabulous little bee butt...lol!

My next card also uses a new release.
This time I used 5729 – Tool Shed MB.
This is from the Matchbook Series.

If you've never seen the Matchbooks before, you need to
begin here.  5317 – MB Template Dies  This is the template that ALL
Matchbooks go into.  There's also a tiny little 5318 – MB Envelope Dies
that I'll be sharing next week.

I hope you're all enjoying the new releases as much as I am.
Happy crafting and I'll see you next week.

I'd like to be...under the sea

Hello Ai fans!
This is a card that I've been so excited to share.  My son loves The Beatles and this was his birthday card.  I used several Art Impressions sets to make this.

My color inspiration came from this artwork that I found online.

I printed all 4 of the Beatle faces to put inside the sub.
The sub is from the newer 5397 – Submarine Cubbies set.

The bottom half of my card was modeled after the artwork from Ringo's book.

I just love ocean themed cards and this one was extra special because I customized it for my son.

The octopus was a freebie.  You can earn a freebie every time you order $30 of more from Art Impressions.

His crown comes from the 5390 – Mini Accents 2.
The ocean floor has several Mini Die sets on it.
I used the 5325 – Sail Mini Dies for the anchor,
the 5332 – Health Mini Dies for the sea urchin (I cut the ends of the germ to make it) and I used the 5329 – Beach Mini Dies for some of the seashells.

I decorated the inside of the card with one of the Cubbie sentiments and more of the fish.
My son loved this!
