Hello and happy Tuesday!

Today is my birthday and we got a snow day

off from school!

Yay me!

While it's snowing here,  this guy is thinking about the beach.

My perspective is off on the placement of the hut but I like it.

I used a never released prototype from Art Impressions for my

card.  The card was made for my Brother-in-law's retirement.

How fun is this guy??  So cute.

I had to keep the inside simple because I was just finishing the card as we were walking

out the door to go to the party.  Talk about last minute. I used 5187 – Happy Trails Set.
Normally,  I would have liked to have colored these in,  given them some sand etc. but as I said,

last minute.

Gone Fishing! from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

This summer I had a request for a camping themed card.
My cousin camps all summer long and really wanted a lot on the water.
One of the camp employees went above and beyond to help her with that
and she wanted to thank her.

I used 5187 – Happy Trails Set to represent Mike and Joann.

The sailboat is from the 5325 – Sail Mini Dies.  They love to sit on the 

dock and look at the lake so I tried to recreate that scene. My card

fits with the Lions, Tigers, Bears, OH MY! current challenge at Art Impression. 

Any crafty project with an animal on it.  I used a dog and fish.  What will you create?

Joann LOVES to fish and so I used the 4900 – Reel Great Guys Set to make the sign
and fish bucket then I used AiCS38 – Doggy Kisses Set because
they have a boxer named Darcy.

I tried to make the dog look like her.

Hello Ai fans!

The newest challenge over at Art Impressions is Funky Folds.

For my card I used several sets.

4900 – Reel Great Guys Set,   5187 – Happy Trails Set, 5277 – Graduation Set
and SC0651 – His & Hers Campers.

I also stamped the verse on paper cut with the 5064 – Circle Double Stitched Dies.

Happy Retirement! New Art Impressions Work and Play!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card made with one of the new Work and Play sets!

The set I'm sharing is called 5187 – Happy Trails Set.

I made a 3-D card with 3 layers. Each one features at least one image from the set.  In total I used 7 stamps from the set.

Isn't this set so much fun?!
