Bee Kind, ALWAYS!

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm going to ask you to BEE KIND...

ALWAYS

I used several sets on my card.  On the front I used
and

On the inside I used 5072 – Block Letters Die Set.

I've been a bee fanatic since I was a teenager.
I was so excited when I saw these little bees!
The possibilities are endless with these letter die sets.
You can create ANY words you want.  Another great thing is that
Art Impressions has a lot of international fans.  Unlike the sentiment stamps
which are all in English, they can create words in their native language for
friends and family.  So cool!

Enjoy your Sunday,  do something crafty and remember...
Bee Kind!

Valentine Windows from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing two Valentine cards that I made.
I kept these small at 3 3/8" xx 4 1/2" because I wanted to
use the border die from the 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.

The red and white striped hearts were made with a die from the Journal set as well.
The Hello die comes with the shadowbox frame set.

The window frame is from 5408 – ShadowBox Window Die.

The Windows to the World set is called M4586 – Memories Window.
I chose it for Valentine's day because of the two birds.  They made me think
of love birds.

I also used a page die from the Journal set.

It's a GIRL! Let's Celebrate!

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing my card that I made for the Let's Celebrate challenge
that's going on right now on the Art Impressions blog!

I used two sets on my card.

The stamps are from 5185 – Baby Girl Set.

The dies are all from the very large 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.
This may be my all time favorite die set from Art Impressions.  Who am I kidding?
It absolutely is!  This set has 35 dies in it.  It isn't just for creating journals. This
set is SO versatile!  I use something from it on almost every card I make now.

I'm not sure what it is about this little girl but I always think "vintage" when I see her.
This card was made for the nurse at my school.  She just had a baby girl and is still on leave.
She texted me and said she LOVED it!

The die set comes with what I'd call an "applique" type flourish die. I used it to cut
the shape out on the frame but then put it back in to kind of created a wood applique look.
I then used an old pigment ink pad to distress several of the edges.

I always feel like pink and gold is a very feminine color combination so I used
3 different types of gold ribbon.

Thankful Harvest Wreaths from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

I'm a little late posting these cards.
They're more for Thanksgiving but you can be
Thankful any time of year, right?

The stars came from two different sets.
5543 – Journal Template Die Set
This journal set is AMAZING!
Even if you don't think you'd ever make a journal there are so many dies that the set is still worth it if you never use the journal die.

5591 – Journal Rectangle Frames Die Set
Don't you just love those little pine cones and all of the beautiful sprigs and sprays?!

The fabulous Harvest Journal set comes with three fall sentiments.
Thankful
Harvest
and
Hello Fall

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a Merry Christmas!

That's a Wrap at Art Impressions!

 Hello Ai fans!

Welcome back.  We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are busy getting ready for the holidays.

Speaking of the holidays, we have a challenge that might help you with your gift giving.

That's a Wrap!

This challenge has two meanings.  First, we're "wrapping up" our challenges for 2022.  Next,  of course,  we're wrapping up gifts for our friends and family.  We want to see your handmade gift bags, gift boxes, gift card holders, handmade wrapping paper,  tags, cards with presents on them etc.

I am the featured artist this week and I made an elegant gift box.

I made the box  using a BUNCH of dies from the 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.  I also used the Seasons Greetings from the 5566 – Christmas Sentiments.

I used gold paper for a lot of the pieces because I wanted this to be over the top opulent!
The sentiment was stamped on a die from 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies.  The snowflakes are from 5353 – Large Snowflake Dies and 4804 – Snowflake Dies.

I also used a greenery die from the brand new 5591 – Journal Rectangle Frames Die Set.

This is the inside of the box before I added the cover.  I used some of the circle dies from the journal set to highlight the 25th.

The sentiment on the inside was stamped on 5134 – Banner Double Stitched Dies.

Now for the really fun part!  I made a gift to go inside the box using more of the dies!

I recently started making paper earrings and I thought
this gift box would be perfect for some of them.

These earrings were made with Ai dies!
I never dreamed my dies would be so versatile!
The little heart is from 5317 – MB Template Dies.

The original plan was just to make the box and so some of the dies
used to make my earrings aren't in the photo.

I hope this inspires you to look at some of your supplies in a new way.

Seasons Greetings everyone!!

We hope you love the last challenge of 2022 and will
enter for your chance to win a free stamp set.

Oh...were you gonna eat this?

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing the card that I made for the 2022 Cat Lovers Hop.
I combined several sets to create this humorous birthday card.
There are actually two men in the boat but I only wanted this guy on my card.  I tried to just ink up the one guy but didn't do a great job of it.  Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White to the rescue!

I used a bit to dab over the part of the other guy that was showing. I think it just looks like a cloud in the background now.

My main image and the fish are from 4900 – Reel Great Guys Set.
The fisherman is mounted on 5061 – Square Double Stitched Dies.
The sentiment on the banner is from 5369 – Feline Set and the naughty cat (lol!) is from 5110 – Housework Set. I cut the Roomba off from under him and used my x-acto knife to cut a slit for a mouth to put the fish in.  The banner die is from 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.

This card would be so perfect for the fisherman in your life but it doesn't even have to be for someone who fishes.  Who doesn't love a funny card?  Maybe you know someone who has a pet that steals things.  When we first got our dog he used to steal bread, muffins, rolls etc. off our counter and hide them around the house.  Our bread basket has been on top of the fridge ever since we figured it out.
