My Top 10 Art Impressions projects of 2024

2024 is quickly coming to a close and I have my Top 10 favorite projects for the year.

It's never easy to narrow the list down because all of the Art Impressions stamps and dies are so wonderful! This is what I finally settled on in no particular order. I hope you enjoyed them.

Watercolor bouquet with bees from Art Impressions

 

Hello Ai fans!

These are some of my favorite things!

Bees, green, yellow, gingham, wood grain, metal...earrings!

My card was created for the Not Just Paper challenge.

I used twine, a metal heart and some rose gold metal "dots."

I tried some WATERCOLOR!

I started small with the new 5921 – Glass Containers Set and 5917 – Floral Bouquet Set.

The beautiful bees and vines are from 5925 – Honey Bee Set. I used Copic markers to color the die cut vines.

I also created a fun pair of earrings using the new 5918 – Floral Long Stem Bouquet Set stamped inside of 5726 – Nested Circle Dies.  I used Memento Ink Pad to stamp the image and then splattered them with Bleed Proof White paint.

New watercolor snowmen from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

There have been some fun, new releases at Art Impressions over the last few weeks!

I went WAY outside my comfort zone and attempted a watercolor card.

I used the new 5467 – Snowmen Set.

Are you someone that LOVES Ai but is afraid of watercolor?

Yes!!  That's me!  I'm slowly learning and loving it. This set would easily work with Copic markers or colored pencils.

I feel like my watercoloring is quite rough but I'm pleased. 

We're going to say that our sleigh is quite old and rusty...lol!

I used Wink of Stella to add some shimmer to my card.

I hope you check out all of the new releases!  Especially the coastal series.  I don't watercolor often but I feel like the new releases are great for regular cards as well.  I hope you agree!

          

My Fortress from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing one of the Bible Journaling sets from Art Impressions.

This one is called 5069 – My Fortress Set.

I wanted to create a dimensional look to the card so I used a clear front.

For even more dimension some of the elements on the front are popped up on foam tape.

I apologize for the photos. I had trouble with the acetate and even photographing the inside because I had to hold the acetate up to take the pictures.

I've been stamping for about 12 years now and have loved Art Impressions since the beginning.  I am still very new to water color cards though.  I'm really trying to make more of them because I know I won't get any better if I don't practice. 

I still look at hundreds of other card makers and think theirs are SO much better but I'm not embarrassed to share mine anymore.  Baby steps...lol!

Wishing Well and Deer Watercolor

Today I'm sharing a card that I made using several of the
WC Mini Sets from Art Impressions
I used:

5012 – WC Wishing Well Mini Set

4875 – Garden Wagon Mini Set

5018 – WC Cobblestone Set

5016 – WC Mini Critter Set

I stamped the little deer first and then made a matte to put over him.  Next I stamped the well so it looked like he was laying in front of it. Last I stamped the cobblestone path leading to the well.

Our task was to make woodland themed cards.  Well...that's right up my alley!  I live in a house surrounded by woods on all four sides and just LOVE animals.  This photo was provided for further inspiration.
