Bee PopCard from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing a card that I made last year
with the retired Bee PopCard Set 4857.  I just realized
that I shared him on my social media but never on my blog.

He's so cute!!

I used the little bees from 5561 – Birds and Bugs Set
from Art Impressions.

Gnomes and Bees from Art Impressions

 Hello and Happy Sunday!

Do you love these new Gnomes as much as I do?
And, yes.  Just so you all know, I can see you furrowing your eyebrows and hear you muttering, "Well that's a silly question," in my head! lol!

Of COURSE you love them!

Gnomes live in the woods so I added lots of bees. Gnomes love flowers and so do bees, so I'd assume that Gnomes love bees too. The teeny little bee is from a retired freebie.  He sits on a flower that a sweet little bear is holding.  I only inked up the bee and placed him on the gnomes nose.  It wasn't easy, but it was worth it.  Maybe someday Bonnie will make us a full bee set with everything from a teeny little cluster of 3 bees that we could ink up as one, two or three...all the way up to larger bees that could be the star of our cards!

One very cool feature of this new Gnome set is that one of them is a Front and Back stamp which means you can create a window showing him from the front and on the inside of the card where you see his backside.

The same goes for the little bees from Birds and Bugs. Since some face left and some face right, you can make those F&B stamps too!

I love using clear acetate to make it look like certain images are flying or floating.  You just have to love bees!

You brighten my day from Art Impressions

 Happy Father's Day Ai fans!

I don't have a Father's Day card for you this time.

I've been swamped lately and needed to create some thank you cards for end of year school gifts.

I kept them small and simple because time means EVERYTHING right now!

Some of the journal dies were just perfect for this compact little card.
I think it measured about 1 1/2" x 2 1/2."

One friend gave me this adorable hexagon bee plaque.

It proudly lives on my mantle now.

I also received some bee socks and a Dunkin' GC.

My friend Holly who owns Clay All Day made me these as a special gift.
She has a Facebook page if you're interested.  She does ship and has  "3 for" deal I believe.

All of these wonderful people brightened my day!

I used Y18 to color the bees.

Queen Bee Door Hanger

Hello Ai fans!
Happy Saturday!

I had a door hanger hanging around that I hadn't used so I thought I'd finally
create something with it.

I made a door hanger for Bonnie's craftroom.
We all know she's the Queen Bee and she needs her quiet time to
create new designs and plan her live tutorials.

But...sometimes it's fine to come in!  lol!

Froggy slimline and Bridge Shadowbox Window from Art Impressions

Hello and happy Thursday!

Today I'm sharing the two cards that I made for the Green Galore challenge on the Art Impressions blog.  Green is my favorite color so I was excited about this one.
I made two cards.
My first is a slimline card that I used lots of Ai products to create.

I also used Bleed Proof White paint which is a wonderful way to add highlights whether you Watercolor or use other mediums.

My second card is a Shadowbox Window card.
I used

These windows are so fun and with the newest line, there's a little add on stamp with
die that can be used inside or out and they also can be combined like I've done. The
bridge is popped up on the inside and the tulips from the other set are popped up
on the outside.

These windows are so fun because they create a dimensional card
that you can fold flat for mailing.

Hello Bees from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing yet another bee themed card.

I know,  SHOCKING right?

I just can't help myself.

I love bees so much and have since I was a teenager.  The little hive in the photo was a gift from my sister probably 30 years ago.

For decades it sat on my kitchen window sill.  Now I've retired it to my craft room to help stage photos.

My card was made before Bonnie released some of her latest die sets or I would have used some of her beautiful new flower and leaf dies for my bees to enjoy.

I used the new 5561 – Birds and Bugs Set and the Hello die is from 5408 – ShadowBox Window Die.
I just love these little bees so much. (In case you couldn't tell!)
If you're looking for more of my bee cards you can find them here.

Flying Birds and Bees cards from Art Impressions

 Hello Ai fans!

I'm so in love with the new little 5561 – Birds and Bugs Set.

Today I have two similar cards for you and one of them has some fun movement!

First I'll share the simpler one.

I used flowers from the 5401 – Easter Chicks Set.

I had so much fun making this card that I wanted to try a second one that's a little more complicated. I added far more flowers to this one.  I also made the bird and bee "fly" on this one.

This was super simple to do.  I just used a piece of acetate that I punched a circle through. I attached it with a brad very loosely so that it would sway back and forth.  The popped up clouds hide the mechanism.

You can see my bee and bird fly through the air here.
