Heard you were flat on your back...

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing a get well card with you.  My brother-in-law recently hurt his back so I sent him this card to cheer him up.

L1603 – Turtle

E1678 – Flat on Back

Inside I used a verse from the new Michael's clear set called GET Well SC0681.  I thought this verse worked great with the turtle.

Copics used:
BG01, B0000B41, YG03, YG25, YG63, YG67, YG91, T1, T3, N2, W3, E25, E84
TriArts:

Get Well Soon George

My Father-In-Law just had surgery on his back and is not well. I'm hoping this guy will cheer him up! The stamp and phrase are from Art Impressions. I used several Cuttlebug embossing folders to add texture as well as some embossed glossy animal skin paper. He's colored with Copic markers and I stamped him 3 times to add dimensional foam and "pop" him out. The oval matte was done with Spellbinders Nestabilities. As for the triangle shape? I don't know. I just felt like doing a triangle card.

Heard you were flat on your back!

This stamp and phrase combination is from Art Impressions and in my opinion just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. There is a teacher at school that is having hip replacement surgery in a few weeks and I'm going to put this card in the goodie basket that's being put together for him. I colored the turtle with water colors and then added some Copic marker highlights here and there. I had so much fun picking out the patterned paper to use. I used some copper dots and dew drops for accents and as you may know how impatient I am... if you look (you don't even have to look closely to see) you can see the wet glue behind them. Don't worry, it will dry clear. Inside I used a mushroom and some insects. They're all from foam sets that I have so I have no idea who made them. My guess would be All Night Media but I'm not sure. The Top Note Bigz Die by Sizzix was used on the inside as well. I think Mr. L will get a kick out of the card.
