Happy Christmas from Santa Paws!! New set from Art Impressions

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a set of tags to hang on a doorknob. (or on the wall)
I've used the new 4937 – Santa Paws Set from Art Impressions.

I've had some wood spools lying around that I've been wanting to use for something and I thought they'd be perfect for this project.  I just spray painted them white and wrapped some designer paper around them.

Wouldn't something like this be adorable hanging on all the knobs in your house?

Copics used: B95, B97, R27, W1, W3, E31, E33

This little pug cracks me up!

Copics used:
E31, E33, E41, R12 R27, YG03, G24

I have two dogs and I don't dress them up but I'm pretty sure that if I tried to this would be the look that I would get from them.

Copics used:
YG03, R27, G24, W00, W1, T1, E33, E41

The little docksie just screams "happy!"  Can't you see him bounding through some new fallen snow with this smile on his face?

I think this is one of my all time favorite Christmas sets.  I love my dogs so much and know so many people that have dogs and would LOVE a card made with one of these little cuties!

It's Friday!!

Hello and happy Friday!!
It's the weekend and time to party!

A friend of mine at school retired this year and aside from the party we had for her I wanted to give her a little something to help her enjoy her retirement.  I know she's a big fan of Captain Morgan so I decorated a bottle for her.

The beautiful gold flourish and hearts were made using Fusible Gold Glitter Sheet from I Brake for Stamps.  If you use my coupon code SAVE10RENEE you can save 10% off your entire order.  The code never expires and can be used over and over again even on sale items.

The photo is of her on talk like a pirate day.

I found this meme of Johnny Depp and thought it was hilarious.

Rudolph Red and Evergreen!...Challenge and new Art Impressions release!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a little Christmas gift I threw together!  It features the brand new set called SC0715 Clr Stamp Ai Reindeer.  You can find this clear set as well as the other one at Michael's craft stores.

My craft is a wine box for two of the single serve bottles.
Look at how fun this girl is!!  And don't you love that little tree...reminds me of my childhood and watching one of my favorite Christmas cartoons!

You can join our challenge too!  Just upload your red and green creation over at the Art Impressions blog.

The set comes with multiple sentiments.

I had some people ask how I made this so I created a second
one and made a tutorial that you can find HERE.

She's so darned funny!  I love the attitude she exudes.

I added some curling ribbon and shredded paper to make it even more festive!

Srappie (Gypsy) Front & Back dog gift

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a super cute dog image from Art Impressions with you.  This guy is called  Scrappie Front & Back (Sku#Q1704) from the Fronts & Backs  line.

I gave this gift to my friend.  Her dog is named Gypsy.

Here's the front of the tag.  The Front and Backs are designed to have an image on the front and then the backside is either on the back of the tag as in this case or on the inside of the card.

Here's the backside.

I embossed the lid with cute little paw prints.

Art Impressions Note-Ables release! I got TEDDY!!

Hello Ai fans!

Today over at Art Impressions there is a fun new release unlike any they've had before.  These are the cutest little critters you've ever seen.  They're called Note-Ables and they're made to have their hands "hold" the bottom portion of your card or tag closed.

I've used the Teddy Note-Able for my tag.  I have a co-worker who is pregnant with a girl and I'll use this on her gift.

In this set you get the Teddy Bear and the Hugs to You! verse.

Don't forget to play along with our Fancy Folds challenge this week!

OWH sketch with Spectacular Set from Art Impressions

Hello Ai Fans!

Today I'm sharing a thank you card since that's the theme of the blog hop.  I've also used a different type of bow since that's this week's Art Impressions challenge.
I've used sketch #165 from OWH.

I've put together a little "how to" for this pull out tag card...

1. Cut your base paper to be 5 1/2" x 11" and score at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2".

Glue the "envelope" closed at one end and along the seam.

Cut your decorative papers for the front.
The matte (my coral piece) is 5 1/4" x 4",
the patterned paper is 5" x 3 3/4" and the peach strip is 1 1/2" x 5".  Punch your desired border design onto (2) 1" x 5" strips.

Glue all pieces together.

Cut a "half" circle with a die.  This is a lot of pieces of paper to cut through so you may need to trim it with scissors if the cut doesn't go all the way through.

Cut your ribbon lengths to be 4 1/4", 4 1/2" and 6".  The 4 1/4" piece is adhered to the card with glue lines.  The other pieces are folded and adhered to each other with glue dots.  Top with a little self adhesive dot and stamp your verse.  I used Thanks from Art Impressions.

Cut and glue your tag pieces.

Stamp, color and cut out mouse.  Stamp your verse and glue mouse to tag.
Punch your hole for the tag ribbon and you're finished.  I've used a new set from Ai called Spectacular Set.

You can personalize this on the back of the tag.
