Happy Second Birthday!

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for a two year boy.
It's the same boy I made a Harry Potter shower card and 1st birthday card for.
He has developed his own likes and is apparently really into construction equipment.

Since I don't own any stamps that fit this theme I had to get creative.  I found a pattern on line for the bulldozer.  The boy was made with a Sizzix die and I printed his hat on my computer.

On the inside I printed the cone, backhoe and sign.  The truck is from a Sizzix die and the saw horse was just cut from paper and I put it together

I used the sign in conjunction with the 2 as a play on the terrible twos.
Get it? "Caution 2!" I don't know...I hope they get it.

I Brake for Babies!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Yesterday I had a baby shower at work and my grade level went in on a gift together.  I made the card.  I used

I had no idea when I made this but the plates at the shower were white with blue polka dots.
Just a fun coincidence!

I used Copic markers to color the B and rattle.

Don't forget you can always

It never expires and can be used over and over again.

Here's the inside...

John Deere birthday card.

Hello and welcome to FRIDAY!!
Hooray, hooray!

My friend asked for a card for a soon to be 2 yr. old little guy in her life.  He totally loves tractors and that's what she wanted as a theme for his birthday card.

I don't have any tractor stamps so I created my own through paper piecing.

Don't bother asking...I probably couldn't recreate this if I wanted to...nothing was measured, everything was free-handed.  I know he's only two but I hope he likes it!

I love this verse from Stampin' Up for cards for young people.

I made the cool back tire using a Spellbinders scalloped circles die and then trimmed off the tip of the scallops.

Little Boy Birthday Whoot!

Hello Ai Fans!
Today I'm sharing an image from one of my very favorite Art Impressions lines! The Whoots.
I chose the Birthday Whoot set.

There is a whole line of Whoots and I love them so much that I own every last one of them!

How perfect is this paper for this little Whoot?
It was made for a little boy.
