Well, Makena came through her surgery quite well. She was an awesome patient and has not complained once so far. She's in a lot of pain but she's been so good I can't believe it! Her class sent her a balloon bouquet with some candy and that put a smile on her face. She'll be out of school until April 7th and missing lots of dance and soccer which she's quite upset about but there's nothing we can do. Oh well, at least she's enjoying all the Popsicles! Her voice is a little scratchy and she sounds stuffed up from the swelling but she will be better off in the long run.
