Glitter and Shimmer Challenge...Coaster Set!

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a project with you that was so much fun to make!  I purchased some inexpensive wood coasters at A.C. Moore and made them my own!  What a cute hostess gift these would make!  Don't you agree?  Everyone brings wine...how about bringing something people can set their wine on??

I made this set for the Art Impressions Glitter and Shimmer challenge.

Here's a list of all the fabulous ART IMPRESSIONS images I used on my coasters.

I decided to do three of the ladies drinking coffee and three of them drinking wine.  My first step was to stamp them and cut out the circles.  I then began my coloring.

Here are the discs all colored up.  I wanted to stick to a fairly similar color palette for all of them.  They're basically black and white with green and yellow accents.

I painted the coasters white and then used Mod Podge to adhere them to the inside.

And...since this IS the GLITTER AND SHIMMER challenge...I gave them each some very sparkly clothing with my Wink of Stella brush pen.  The sparkle is really pretty in person.

Here's the set all packed up.  Be sure to seal them with a waterproof spray so the paper won't be ruined with stains or sweat from the glasses.

Copics used:

E02, E29, E31, E33, E43, E50, E51, E57, E93,
R59, R81, W00, W1, C0, C1, C5, C7, 100,
BG10, B41, Y21, YR04, YG63, YG67
