How you feeling? Hot, Hot, Hot!!

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing a cute little altered jar I made.

I LOVE to cook and recently bought a bag of dried chili peppers. The bag was pretty large and was not resealable. I had two options...roll the bag and clip it or throw them into a resealable zip lock bag. BORING! to both of those. So, I thought of a third option. I remembered an old House Mouse stamp that I have and decided to decorate a plastic jar I had. I think it originally contained mixed nuts or something. It was the perfect size, will keep them fresh and it looks cute in my pantry.

 I used a "flame" embossing folder on it too.

Relax! You deserve it!

My friend is the team mom for our kids soccer team.  She puts in a ton of hours organizing everything so we took up a collection and got her a day at a spa.  I made this card for us to put the certificate in.

I've used my new Spellbinders Fleur di Lis square die as well as a Grand Label die.  The border is a Martha Stewart punch. 

I know how much she'll appreciate the gift.  I can't wait to see her face when we 

give it to her!

Party mouse birthday

I made this card for my niece's 6th birthday which is on Monday.  I wanted to use a stamp that I hadn't used in a while and there's always something cute for a little girl in my House Mouse bin!  I used lots of Stickles because well, little girls in general just like things that sparkle don't they?  I thought the black & white gave this a little bit of a grown up touch for her yet it's still fun enough for a 6 year old.
