Are the girlfriends good drivers?

Hello Ai Fans!

Today I'm sharing a funny birthday card with you.

My card features the one and only GIRLFRIENDS!!

I've used the SHOPPERS FRONT.
I decided I wanted to make the card a little dimensional so I popped up the front of the car and the license plate after I paper pieced them.
The verse is called GET OFF SIDEWALK.

I used two additional verses on the inside...

TOO OLD TO CARE
and
GF HAPPY BIRTHDAY

They were colored with Copic markers.

Okay...so I realized that I took the photos before I added the sparkly button head lights.  So, without further adieu here is the finished product!

Happy 100th Birthday!

My sister requested a birthday card for her husband's grandmother's 100th birthday on Feb. 1.  She wanted something flat since she will be mailing it.  Her only request was that it be a little humorous.  Once she saw this she said it was perfect because she only quit driving a few years ago.  (YUP!)  I hope she enjoys these funny gals from Art Impressions and has a wonderful 100th celebration!

Card makings:
Art Impressions: VW stamp
I Brake for Stamps: At my age stamp
Stickles
chipboard numbers
Copic markers
riboon
Spellbinders: petite oval dies
sewing machine
Cuttlebug embossing folder

Having the time of their lives!

I'm back from our week at the lake!  Did you miss me?  I got busy right away this morning.  I just received a new shipment of stamps from Art Impressions and these hilarious gals were in it.  I love this stamp and phrase.  The shoppers and get off the sidewalk phrase can be found over on the AI website.  I stamped the image twice, once on white cardstock and once on the blue/green designer paper.  I then trimmed out the VW and glued it onto the white paper.  The ladies are colored with Copic markers and I used acrylic glaze on their glasses.  The headlights are some silver jewelry making pieces that I had.  The mattes were made with Spellbinders dies and then I embossed the circle with a Quickutz folder.
