Sugar Creek Hollow Circles challenge and a Rusting tutorial

Today I'm going to share a fun tutorial that's just PERFECT if you love vintage!
We're going to take shiny new metal objects and make them look old and rusty.
To join in the vintage circles challenge just click HERE.

Here are the items that I started with.

After mixing your ingredients together in a PLASTIC bin with a
PLASTIC spoon place the cover on it.

Let it sit for at least 24 hrs. (some were done then and
some had to go another day)  You can open it once or twice
to give it a stir and make sure your items aren't overlapping.

Here is what I ended up with.  Some rusted more than others.
I suppose the type of metal affects that.

This is the card for the Circles challenge that I created using
some of the rusted elements.

Rusting Recipe:

1/2 pint Hydrogen Peroxide
1/8 C. White Vinegar
1 TBSP salt

And here's a close up and a shot of the inside.

Loving your card, your layered center is fabulous. I love the tutorial and the information. Didn't have any idea that you could do that. Love how they came out!
